Admissions
Families interested in enrolling their child at The Children's Academy may download an application or request that one be sent to them by contacting us at: 646-277-5459. A complete application packet includes the following:
- Application for Admission;
- Speech and Language Evaluation;
- Academic/Cognitive Evaluation (e.g., Stanford-Binet, Wechsler Preschool Primary Scale of Intelligence, etc.);
- Individual Educational Plan (IEP), or most recent school report;
- Occupational Therapy Evaluation (if you have one).
The application fee is $25.00.
The complete packet should be forwarded to: The Children's Academy, Attn: Administrative Director, 350 E. 82nd Street, New York, NY 10028.
After we review a completed application packet, we may elect to observe your child in his or her present classroom. In addition, potential students will be invited to visit The Children's Academy and interact with our current students in the classroom.
