Children’s Academy is an integrated, multidisciplinary K-7th grade school serving children with speech and language delays. We strongly believe in the potential of all children and strive to ensure that our students realize their full capabilities.

Job Summary

Children’s Academy is seeking a Development Coordinator to support the overall fundraising efforts of Children’s Academy. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Development and school leadership team to provide administrative and logistical support to further the growth and development of Children’s Academy. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. S/he has experience in fundraising or is eager to grow his/her fundraising career. S/he is a team player, has strong people skills, and a passion for serving students with speech and language disabilities.

Responsibilities

Organize and track all aspects of donor management, including gift processing and donor recognition; develop and run reports.
Enter and maintain donor, student, and family records in Salesforce, Children’s Academy’s CRM database. 
Manage and support special events logistics, including working with venues and vendors, managing day-of event logistics, and managing individual and corporate special event gifts.

• Create fundraising, donor, and other database reports as needed.

Manage implementation and daily management of the organization's online marketing and social media initiatives. Monitor internet trends and e-marketing best practices.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to coordinate and maintain print and web marketing and communication collateral.
Prepare collateral materials and manage mailings. 
Provide administrative to Head of School and school leadership team as needed.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills

Bachelor's degree. Experience working in fundraising in a nonprofit setting preferred. 
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google apps, and social media platforms; experience with Salesforce or other fundraising database, email marketing platforms, In-Design, and web-site maintenance preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills. Detail-oriented. 
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Self-starter who enjoys handling multiple projects.
Ability to thrive in small, fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Comfort and flexibility with shifting priorities and deadlines. 
Commitment to providing high quality education to students with disabilities.
